Gerald Wayne Lands
Gerry was born Sept. 2, 1947 in Commerce, Texas. He died Sept. 2, 2006 from injuries sustained in an aircraft accident in Prescott.
A 1970 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Gerry was a C-141 aircraft commander. He flew missions worldwide, including to Viet Nam and to the Middle East during the 1973 Arab-Israeli conflict. He also served in various non-flying command positions with the Air Force Reserve, including his final assignment with the 349th Civil Engineering Squadron, retiring as a Lt. Colonel in 1995. At the time of his death he was a founder and current President and CEO of Enflex Corp. in Prescott.
He was predeceased by his brother, David Charles Lands; his mother, Deltha Marie White Lands; and his father, Billie Fuller Lands.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carol Ann Rohr Lands of Chino Valley; his sister-in-law, Nancy Sue Lands; his brother-in-law, John; Charles Rohr; two nephews and a niece.
Memorial services were conducted Sept. 10 at his home. Gerry's life was an inspiration to the countless individuals he met. He unselfishly served his country, his community, his neighbors and his friends and family. He will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.

William Marsh, 35, of Chino Valley died on Sept. 5, 2006. He was born on Nov. 5, 1970 in Ogden, Utah.
Services were on Sept. 13, in West Weber, Utah.

Melvin Howard Rochester, 68 of Ashfork, died on Sept. 15, 2006 in Chino Valley. He was born on June 7, 1938 in Brawley, Calif. Memorial services will be held on Sept. 23, at 2 p.m. at Chino Valley Funeral Home Chapel.
