Leonard Field, 84, beloved husband, father, and grandfather of Dewey, Ariz., died Saturday, March 18, 2006, in Prescott.

He was born Dec. 29, 1921, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Jos and Anna Field.

Leonard was a WWII Army veteran.

Leonard is survived by his wife of 60, years Betty Field of Dewey; daughter Marla (Perry) Wein of Deerfield, Ill.; and granddaughters Lindesy and Jenny Wein, also of Deerfield, Ill.

Emma Lou Suggs

Emma Lou Suggs, age 75, died March 18, 2006, in Prescott, after a lengthy illness. She was born Sept. 14, 1930, in Lonake, Ark., to Henry and Willis (Rollins) Hart.

Emma shared 52 years of marriage with her husband, J.R. Suggs.

She is survived by her son, Gary W. Huff; five brothers; two sisters; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services in honor of Emma will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at Heritage Memorial Park in Dewey, with Pastor David Parker officiating.

J.R. Suggs

J.R. Suggs, age 78, died March 18, 2006, in Prescott, after a short illness. He was born June 24, 1927, in Clarksville, Texas, to Henry and Lillie (Bell) Suggs.

Carol M. Kelty

Carol M. Kelty, age 74, died March 17, 2006, in Prescott, AZ. She was born July 27, 1931, in Chicago, Ill., to Roy and Mercedes (Nelles) Henning.

Carol enjoyed square dancing, bowling and horseback riding. Carol was good in the kitchen and loved to cook and bake for her family's enjoyment. Carol and Jim shared 51 years of marriage together.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Henning and Mercedes (Nelles) Henning; her sister, Phyllis; and nephew, Roy Smith.

Carol is survived by her husband, Jim Kelty; sisters, Jacqueline (Wesley) Ackerman of Calif., Marilyn Smith of Ariz., and Patricia McCourt of Mass.; sister-in-law, Jeanne Heinberg of Ariz.; many nieces and nephews and cousins by the dozens; and her special guardian dog, Rusty.

A commemoration service in honor of Carol will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2006, at Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott Valley, with a visitation one-hour prior. Reverend Charlotte Bryan-Matke will officiate.

Robert B. Cowan, 55, born June 5, 1950, in Chicago, Ill., died Wednesday, March 15, at his home in Prescott Valley.

A gathering of friends will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, at the Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St., Prescott. Interment will follow at Heritage Memorial Park Cemetery in Dewey.

Christine "Tina" Renee Hanson, 33, born May 17, 1972, in Minneapolis, Minn., died Friday, March 17, 2006, at John C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix.

A memorial service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 25, at the Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St., Prescott.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to her mother and father for the care and support of her children.

Larry Lee, 84, of Prescott, born Oct. 30, 1921, in Tucson, died Monday, March 20, 2006, at his home in Prescott.

A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 25, at First Baptist Church in Prescott with Pastor Bob Hanson officiating. Private interment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona with Full Military Honors.
