Oliver Jasper Pogue

Oliver Jasper Pogue, born March 24, 1921, in Warba, Minn., died February 2, in Loma Linda, Calif.

Army veteran. A medical doctor since 1953. Missionary in British Guyana. Practiced medicine in Lincoln, Neb., then Zambia, Rwanda and Korea. Retired in Spring Valley in 1993.

Survived by Barbara, his wife for 55 years; sons, Maynard and Roy; daughters, Carol Pogue and Pam Stilson; three granddaughters, and three grandsons; brother, Donald,

Memorial service will be held at the Prescott SDA Church, 2980 Willow Creek Road, Prescott, 2 p.m., Feb. 25. Family requests gifts to the Scholarship Fund for the Prescott Adventist Christian School in lieu of flowers.

Sharon L. Webster

Sharon L. Webster left her family and friends on Feb. 16, 2006, at 6:05 p.m. 

She was born in Peoria, Ill., on Aug. 31, 1939. She is very loved and will be missed by family members and friends.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Sharon Black of Chino Valley; sons, Kenneth Webster of San Antonio, Texas, and Patrick Webster of Monticello, Iowa; grandchildren, Amanda Webster of Chino Valley, and Trevor Webster of San Antonio, Texas; great-granddaughter, Jeanie Chapman of Chino Valley; brother, Michael Dillon of Chino Valley; and sisters Colleen Henning, of Clinton, Iowa, Donna McKenney of Bloomington, Calif., Jeanne Roth of Chino Valley, and Jari Moser of Burkebille, Texas.

Memorial service will be held Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Chino Valley Community Church 1969 N. Highway 89 Chino Valley, AZ.

Konni Marie Brumbaugh

Konni Marie Brumbaugh, 55, of Prescott, born Oct. 27, 1950, in York, Neb., died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, in Prescott.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at Metz Mortuary, 109 S. Lincoln Ave., York, Neb. Family will greet relatives and friends from 7 to 8 p.m.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at Metz Mortuary. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in York. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to York Community Foundation, Prescott Fine Arts Association, Yavapai Regional Medical Center Hospice or IDEAS.

Walter E. Bateman

Walter E. Bateman, 77, of Prescott, born Jan. 5, 1929, in Medford, Mass., died Friday, Feb. 3, 2006, in Prescott.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Las Fuentes Resort Village, 1035 Scott Dr., Prescott.

Lois C. Grosscup

Lois C. Grosscup, 87, of Prescott, born Nov. 26, 1918, in Chicago, Ill., died Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, at her residence in Prescott.

A memorial service will take place on May 29, 2006, at the Church of Spiritual Living, 3755 Willow Creek Road, Prescott. Private cremation will be at Bradshaw Crematory, Prescott Valley.

Donald W. Hunt, 77, of Chino Valley, born June 10, 1928, in Watervliet, Mich., died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, in Chino Valley.
