Josephine Adeline Feiten
Josephine Adeline Feiten, 76, died August 20, 2006, in Prescott Valley, Arizona. She was born March 8, 1930, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; the daughter of Charles and Emily (Odorizzi) Tenaglia. Josephine was an 18 year, highly regarded associate at the Prescott True Value store. She was a dedicated member of the American Culinary Federation Prescott Chapter. Josephine was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with her family. Josephine embraced life to the fullest and had a warm place in her heart for all,
Josephine is survived by her children, William (Vicki) Feiten of East Wenatchee, Washington, Peter (Denise) Feiten of Norcross, Georgia, Thomas (Mary) Peiten of Muskego, Wisconsin, Mary (Thad) Brewer of East Wenatchee, Washington and James (Sabrina) Feiten of Leavenworth, Washington. She is also survived by her sisters, Jean (Warren) Briesemeister of Elcho, Wisconsin and Janet Stenlund of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; grandchildren, William, Emily, Cassidy, Elijah, Sherry and Michael; and great-grandchildren, Kyra, Larry and Kaylee.
Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, William of 54 years
A Christian Service for remembrance of Josephine's life will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at 1 p.m. at The Marina Room (APS Bldg.) of the Hassayampa Inn, Prescott, Arizona.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made in Josephine's name to the Prescott High School - Josephine Feiten Memorial Culinary Scholarship Fund.

Lorene Carter
Lorene Carter, age 85, of Prescott Valley, died Friday August 25, 2006, in Phoenix, Arizona. Lorene was born March 2, 1921, in Henryetta, Oklahoma; the daughter of James E. Watson and Ottie Mae (Schmidt) Watson. Lorene was married to Ross E. Carter, Sr. on July 4, 1942, in Okeinah, Oklahoma. Lorene and Ross celebrated 60 loving years together prior to his death in 2002. Lorene was preceded in death by her daughter; Alice Glenna Jones; sisters, Naomi, Veatress, Mary Donna and Charlene; brothers, Albert, Raymond, Herald, Jim Jr. and Tony. She leaves behind her son Ross E. Carter, Jr., (Sharon) of Roosevelt, Ariz., daughter; Janice (John) Warren of Ft. Smith, Ark.; nine grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; one brother, Lester Watson of Mesa, Arizona and six sisters, Irene Lewis (her twin) of Dewey, Ariz., Esther Dansky of Melbourne, Fla., Sadie Caswell of Cave Creek, Ariz., Frances Stingle of Wichita Falls, Texas, Ruby Rackley of Tempe, Ariz. and Carol Thorpe of Calif.
In memory of Lorene, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Arizona, 2222 W. Northern Avenue #A102, Phoenix, Arizona. 85021.
Service to be held 10:15 a.m. Friday, September 1, 2006, at Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel, Prescott, Arizona. Interment to follow at Heritage Memorial Park, Dewey, Arizona.

Patricia G. Bennison
Patricia G. Bennison, passed away August 24, 2006, in Dewey, Ariz. She was born July 28, 1922, in West Haverstraw, N.Y., to George H. and Rosemary (Springstead) Girling.
Patricia graduated from Haverstraw High School in 1939 and was a graduate of Columbia University School of Business in 1943.
Patricia was married to Robert T. Bennison in 1944, who survives her. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert P. Bennison of Prescott Valley, Ariz. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews and her daughter-in-law, Cindy Tirotta and husband Joseph.
Patricia was an avid golfer and was a long time member and past champion of the 9-Hole Ladies Group at Prescott Country Club. She was a Parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in Mayer.
A Memorial Mass for Patricia will be celebrated on Sat., Sept. 9, 2006, at St. Joseph's Church in Mayer at 10 a.m. The service will be preceded by the Rosary at 9:45 a.m.

Stanley Rutt
Stanley Rutt passed away Thursday, August 27, 2006, after a courageous battle with dementia. He was born March 11, 1927 in Chicago, Ill.
Stanley leaves behind his beloved wife, Maxine of 59 years; and his children, son Dennis Rutt (Gale); daughters, Sharon Carroll (Frank) and Susan Rutt. Also four grandchildren, Dan Carroll, Stacey Carroll, Ryan Rutt and Dakota Rutt and one great-grandchild, Emily Carroll.

Bill Thorlin Jones, Sr
Bill Thorlin Jones, Sr., 90, of Prescott, born June 29, 1916 in Phoenix, Ariz., died Friday, August 25, 2006 in Prescott.
A private cremation will be held at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley.
Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements.

Alan J. Graves, 63, of Prescott Valley, born July 30, 1943, in Albany, Calif., died Wednesday, August 23, 2006, in Phoenix, Ariz.
Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel, 8167 E. Highway 69, Prescott Valley. Commemoration services in honor of Alan will be held on Saturday, September 2, at 2 p.m. at Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post #6 of Prescott.

Gerald Cleveland Summit, 68, of Cordes Lakes, Ariz., born July 17, 1938, in Phoenix, died Sunday, August 27, 2006, in Cordes Lakes.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 31, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Cornerstone Family Church in Cordes Lakes, Arizona. Commemoration services in honor of Gerald will be held Thursday, August 31, at 2 p.m. at the Cornerstone Family Church in Cordes Lakes, Arizona.
