PRESCOTT – Just call her "Ms. Music."
Honing vocal chords, crafting productions and enjoying what she calls "magic moments" are all in a day's work for Amy Van Winkle, Prescott High School's choir director.
For the past 18 years, Van Winkle has molded thousands of voices, spent thousands of evenings rehearsing and delighted tens of thousands of Prescott residents with her final products.
While she said teaching and creating performances go hand in hand, Van Winkle said, "I like teaching better than anything else."
