Vote 'the slate' of Skoog for mayor, <BR>Wise and Parker for PV council
Vote "the slate" in the March 8 mail-in election for the Prescott Valley Town Council. Also, vote yes on Prop. 401.
The slate consists of Mayor Harvey Skoog, and council candidates Angie Parker and Harold Wise.
Also seeking a seat on the council are Councilman Tom Steele and Eunice Conner, a former PV councilwoman.
Skoog, who is doing a good job as mayor since winning election on Nov. 2, faces no opposition. However, he needs your vote to fill that slot for the next four years. So, vote "yes" for Harvey Skoog for mayor.
For the two seats up for grabs on the Prescott Valley Town Council, the Prescott Valley Tribune recommends electing Angie Parker and Harold Wise.
Why Parker and Wise?
Parker, a veteran educator and administrator, will bring a new aspect to the council.
She can put her experience with distance learning to good use to help the town staff and council reach their goal of communicating better with its residents.
As a former member of two town commissions, she is familiar with the town's problems.
She also favors the continued growth of the town in all ways – the addition of new residents, commercial developments and industry.
Wise brings years of experience as an area businessman and a Prescott councilman.
His track record on the Prescott council shows he knows the value of water and open space in a growing area.
A pro-growth candidate, Wise also believes in hearing all sides of an issue before voting on it, which is the way it should be. He also knows the value of controlled growth in Prescott Valley.
Therefore, the Tribune recommends voting Harvey Skoog for mayor; and Angie Parker and Harold Wise to fill the two open seats on the council.
