<I>'Wheel of Fortune'</I><BR>Local couple takes a spin when game show tapes in Phoenix

But once the crew had everything ready, the Prescott Valley couple had a system worked out.

"He'd spin the wheel, and then while he was spinning, I'd figure out what letter we were going to choose next."

So when Frederick finished spinning the wheel – "that thing is really heavy," he said – Crystal would tell him the letter.

Frederick said he "was about to die up there," from feeling so nervous, and Crystal said she "just had the jitters."

Crystal said the set was smaller than she imagined, and that the show goes pretty quickly.

"You wouldn't think that it goes so quickly," she said. Contestants have to choose a letter immediately after spinning the wheel, then try to solve a puzzle.
