Bomb threat disrupts BMHS<BR>

PRESCOTT VALLEY – An anonymous bomb threat call that Bradshaw Mountain High School (BMHS) received Friday morning turned out to be a prank, but prompted an immediate school evacuation and a delay in classroom instruction.

Principal Jim Wells said that at around 10:55 a.m. the school received a call from someone whose voice sounded like that of a young man.

"It was a very quick conversation," he said, adding that the caller didn't give an exact location but said "'you have a bomb at your location' and then hung up. That is all we had to go on."

He said that administrators, with the help of police, tried to trace the call without success.
