Character Counts! at Lake Valley...

Principal Bev Harvey speaks to students at Lake Valley Elementary School recently, after students celebrated Character Counts! Week with an essay contest for all fifth graders; winnerseach received a new bicycle. The subject of the essay was the Golden Rule and how it fits into the Six Pillars of Character Counts! - Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship. Winners of the contest are Erik Martinez, shown, and Joy Kimi. APS and Focused Future 2 donated the bikes; the Prescott Valley Police Department donated the helmets.
