Skyview students learn about the outdoors – with a little help from some friends
PRESCOTT – As the morning campfire dies down, six groups head off in different directions at the Granite Basin Lake recreation area. They are all on a mission, a quest, and have only one day to complete the tasks set before them.
At a picnic table at the far end of the campground, "The Eagles" – six fourth- to sixth-graders from Skyview School and their two Prescott College undergraduate instructors – open up a reed-covered box that another group prepared for them the previous day. Inside are the clues they will need to find their prize.
