Wyatt Earp riding back out of Arizona after six years
BLACK CANYON CITY - Wyatt Earp rode into Black Canyon City in October 1996, and now he's riding back out - to Ireland.
Yes, 1996. Wyatt Earp, the great-grandnephew and namesake of the famed lawman, rode into Black Canyon City and performed his play - Wyatt Earp: A Life on the Frontier - on the stage at Canon School.
Earp's wife, producer/playwright Terry Earp, wrote the story based on family notes about what really happened in Wyatt Earp's life and the OK Corral episode. The family version differs from Hollywood's take.
