Leland Martin performs at Matt's on Monday

Matt's Longhorn Saloon will present a free concert by country music artist Leland Martin at 8 p.m. Monday at 112 S. Montezuma.

Martin has spent a lifetime behind the wheel and recently released his debut album, "Simply Traditional," that showcases the artist's strong affiliation of life on the road.

The new release offers up a traditional, Country sound with such hits as, "If I Had Long Legs (Like Alan Jackson)" and his truck driver's anthem, "Stone Cold Fingers."

Martin has, according to his label IGO Records, "forged his vocal and songwriting style over the course of three decades on stages all over the region."

This Monday Martin will arrive in Prescott and be an in-studio guest at KNOT before commandeering a 45-minute show at Matt's Longhorn Saloon downtown.

After the performance Martin will sign autographs.
