Trio from PV faces drug, abuse charges
PRESCOTT VALLEY – Three Prescott Valley residents face drug-related and child abuse charges after police responded to a complaint and searched their home.
Rebecca Angerer, 29, and Tommy Morales, 37, are in custody on charges including possession and sale of dangerous drugs and marijuana and child abuse.
In addition, police cited and released Joshua Graham, 27, for possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to a Prescott Valley Police Department (PVPD) report, at around 9 p.m. on Monday, PVPD patrol officers went to the 8400 block of Ackland Drive to follow up on a complaint.
Upon their arrival, officers reportedly saw one of the residents toss what appeared to be a bindle of methamphetamine onto the ground. Officers also reportedly smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the inside the residence.
Securing the home, in which they located three adults and a two-year-old child, police subsequently served a search warrant for narcotics.
Officers allegedly located about 10 grams of methamphetamine, about 36 pounds of marijuana and paraphernalia associated with drug use. Police estimate a total street value at about $23,000.
After the arrest of Angerer and Morales, police released the child to a family friend.
The Prescott Area Narcotics Task Force (PANT) assisted PVPD with the investigation.
