Another (practically famous) regular, the Jackass Inn's nighttime bartender Sunny Scheibel, performed a Dolly Parton version of "9 to 5."
Aside from sounding great, Scheibel's performance had enough energy to get several audience members dancing with her.
Scheibel said she's been singing since 1996, when she first felt brave enough during a night out with friends to try karaoke.
And now, she's a regular hit among the Sunday night singers at the Jackass Inn. When Clevenger called her name, the crowd cheered, and when he called the song title, the crowd went wild.
"The crowd that comes in here is phenomenal," she said.
And Clevenger is just one of the crowd. He opens every show with a karaoke song of his own, and takes his turn with the rest.
"If somebody puts it in, I'll take a stab at it," he said.
And once a week, that's what these folks do. And while some of them, like Katera, just want to blow off steam, others like Scheibel, hope to make it as full time singers. The Jackass Inn is just the start.
