From mummies and masks to sarcophagi...<BR>Granite sixth-graders go Egyptian
PRESCOTT – Miniature handcrafted coffins lay in colorful rows during an "Egyptian Museum" this past Friday at Granite Mountain Middle School's library.
Caia Decker, 11, exhibited one she made of modeling clay and covered with five layers of "gold." A painted face and black hieroglyphics added to the impression that archaeologists may have dug it up somewhere along the Nile.
