Navajo weaver teaches<BR>skills and legends

"An Intermediate Navajo Weaving Workshop" with Nanaba Aragon is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 8 and 9, at Sharlot Hall Museum.

Navajo artist Nanaba Aragon was taught the art of weaving by her mother. She has taught and demonstrated weaving with the Arizona Commission on the Arts, the Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonials in Gallup, N.M., the Santa Fe Indian Market, the Heard Museum, and at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.
