Matthew James Myers, 35, of Kirkland, could face a felony criminal damage charge after he allegedly drove his truck into the lobby of the Kirkland Post Office at around 4:30 p.m. Monday. Yavapai County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Sharon Wachter said Myers told deputies he drove into the post office because of "loud noises he was hearing and because he was upset with some people in Wickenburg." Deputies arrested him and charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Wachter added that other charges, including felony criminal damage, are pending review by the county attorney. No one reportedly suffered major injuries as a result of the incident.
