Robbery netted only $62, store employees say
PRESCOTT – The man who robbed a Circle K this past week reportedly stole $62, according to store employees.
Prescott police arrested Daniel Moore, 40, of Chino Valley this past Thursday in connection with the robbery. Police booked Moore into Yavapai County Jail around 8 p.m. Thursday.
Police received a call from a Circle K employee who said someone held up the store at 3101 Willow Creek Road. The clerk described both the robber and the vehicle he left in to police. Prescott Police Sgt. Mike Kabbel said a witness reported that a man walked into the convenience store and demanded money from the cash register.
According to the report, the man allegedly kept his hand in a pocket and on an object that looked like a gun.
Police arrested Moore soon after the incident, and initially stated that the robber made off with $100.

• PRESCOTT – No one suffered major injuries when a mini-van rolled over on Walnut Avenue this morning, according to Prescott Fire Department officials.
Prescott firefighters received a call about the accident in the 700 block of Walnut Street around 6:30 a.m.
Prescott Fire Capt. Ralph Lucas said the driver of the mini-van drove into a parked vehicle.
Lucas said there were three men in the van. He said two of the men suffered no injuries and the third man received treatment for some minor injuries at the scene of the accident. Lucas said he refused further medical treatment. Further information was unavailable.
