Military Kudos for local service persons
Marine Corps Lance Cpl. James P. Albrecht, son of Marlene and James P. Albrecht of Cave Creek recently accepted promotion to his current rank while serving with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 14, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, N. C.
Albrecht earned his promotion based on sustained superior job performance and proficiency in his designated specialty.
Albrecht is a 2000 graduate of Cactus Shadows High School of Cave Creek, Ariz. and joined the Marine Corps in October 2000.
Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Scott B. Boyle, son of Lorraine and Benjamin L. Boyle of 31006 N. 42nd Place, Cave Creek, Ariz., recently reported for duty aboard the aircraft carrier Precommissioning Unit Ronald Reagan, based at Newport News, Va. Boyle is a 1990 graduate of Shadow Mountain High School of Phoenix, Ariz. and joined the Navy in March 1993.
Navy Hospitalman Recruit Colleen M. Kilyk, a 2001 graduate of Horizon High School, Scottsdale, Ariz., recently graduated from the Basic Hospital Corps School at Naval Hospital Corps School, Great Lakes, I11.
Coast Guard Seaman Zachary M. Little, son of Rochelle G. Witten of 227 W. Behrend Drive, Phoenix, and Timothy A. Little of 6029 Magnolia Ave., St. Louis, recently graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Recruit Training Center in Cape May, N. J. Little is a 1998 graduate of North Canyon High School of Phoenix.
