Raelene Metcalf, 51, of Prescott, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2001, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center, Prescott.
She was born Nov. 1, 1949, in Fort Collins, Colo., to Ray and Lois (Chandler) Gardner.
Mrs. Metcalf was a teacher for 29 years in the Chino Valley Unified School District. She was active in the Prescott Fine Arts Theater, and was a pianist, singer and actress. Her family knew her as a loving mother, grandmother and daughter who loved to laugh.
Surviving are her father, of Prescott; daughter, Gina of Prescott; sons, Nathan Metcalf and Ivy Williams, both of Prescott; Michael Williams of Camp Verde and Joshua Clark of Germany; brother, Larry Gardner of Cordes Junction; and three grandchildren.
Her mother preceded her in death in April 2001.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Bradshaw Ward, 1001 Ruth St., Prescott.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with Bishop William Halterman officiating. Cremation will follow the services with burial at Thatcher Cemetery in Safford.
Sunrise Funeral Home and Crematory helped the family with arrangements.
Frank Corsi, 78, died at his home in Spring Valley on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2001.
He was born Feb. 4, 1923, in Highland Park, Mich., to Joseph and Rose (Liburdi) Corsi.
Mr. Corsi served in the United States Army during the early 1940s. He retired after working 42 years as a truck driver.
He enjoyed woodworking and was a life member of the Loyal Order of Moose Prescott Lodge 319. His family knew him as a good father, husband and friend to all.
Surviving are his wife, Rosalie, whom he married in 1974; daughters, Diane Corsi and Nina Popoff, both of Phoenix; stepchildren, Billy Norris of Utah and Carol Abercrombie of Phoenix; brothers, Philip, Bert and Tony; two grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.
His first wife, Grace Perna, preceded him in death.
Viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Sunrise Funeral Home, Prescott Valley. A celebration of life Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Germaine's Catholic Church, Prescott Valley. Viewing will also be one hour prior to the Mass.
There will be a lunch after the Mass at St. Germaine's Church. Burial will be at Redwood Cemetery in Prescott Valley.

Services for Rosa Lee Peattie, 84, of Phoenix, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001, at the United Methodist Church, 505 W. Gurley St., Prescott. Her obituary on Sunday incorrectly listed the services as this Tuesday. The Courier regrets the error.
