James E. Reece

James E. Reece, 75, of Prescott, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2001, in Prescott.

He was born July 5, 1926, in New Albany, Miss., to Avie Carl and Warreen (McLeroy) Reece.

Mr. Reece grew up in Potts Camp, Miss., and graduated from Potts Camp High School. He served in the U.S. Army.

He married Dara N. Clark on July 12, 1956. Mr. Reece worked for Owl Rock Products for 43 years, and was manager of the transportation division at the time of his retirement.

He moved to Prescott from San Dimas, Calif., in 1989. He enjoyed playing golf and reading, and was most proud of his children and grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife; daughter, Sharon Sanchez of Lubbock, Texas; son, Ronald of Oak Hills, Calif.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service is pending in California.

Jeanne Louise Clinkenbeard

Jeanne Louise Clinkenbeard, 85, of Prescott, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001.

She was born June 8, 1916, in Bradford, Pa., to Lynn and Florence (Maney) Carrier.

Mrs. Clinkenbeard had lived in Prescott for 35 years.

Surviving is her husband, John.

The family plans no services.

Memory Chapel Mortuary helped the family with arrangements.

Ruth Ella Lehman

Ruth Ella Lehman, 92, of Prescott, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2001, at Prescott Samaritan Village.

She was born Dec. 3, 1909, in Lebanon, Ohio, to Oscar John and Lulu Lewis (Ranker) Christy.

Mrs. Lehman worked as a security and purchasing agent for Mosler Safe and Lock Company before her retirement. She moved to Prescott in 1996.

She was a member of St. John Anglican Catholic Church of Dayton, Ky. Mrs. Lehman enjoyed cooking family meals, gardening, sewing, knitting and embroidery. She was most proud of her farm, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughter, Judy Graves of Owensville, Ohio; son, Charles of Prescott; sister, Dorothy Woolery of Walnut Creek, Calif.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be in Dayton, Ky.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Prescott Samaritan Village, 1030 Scott Drive, Prescott, AZ 86301.
