Marjean Ann Walters

Marjean Ann Walters, 70, died Monday, July 9, 2001, at her home in the Prescott Country Club, Dewey.

She was born March 31, 1931, in Dayton, Ohio, to Lawrence and Mabel (Rogers) Holweger.

Mrs. Walters was a homemaker and worked in the fine jewelry department at J.C. Penney. She moved to Prescott Country Club nine years ago from Boynton Beach, Fla.

Surviving are her husband, Robert; mother, Mabel, of Dayton, Ohio; daughter, Lori Kneisley of Lake Worth, Fla.; son, Mike of Phoenix; sister, Barbara Schulte of Dayton, Ohio; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3300 N. Navajo Drive, Prescott Valley. Pastor Steven Hein will officiate.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice.

Hampton Funeral Home helped the family with arrangements.

Brieann Elisabeth Carnes

Brieann Elisabeth Carnes, 14, of Prescott Valley, died Tuesday, July 13, 2001, in an automobile accident near York, Neb.

She was born Nov. 19, 1986, in Roseburg, Ore., to William Joseph and Elisabeth Catherine (Ridings) Carnes.

Miss Carnes had finished the eighth grade at Bradshaw Mountain Middle School. She wanted to be a doctor, specializing in the treatment of women.

Surviving are her mother, of York, Neb.; father, of Prescott Valley; brothers, Colt, Cord and Chance, all of Prescott Valley; and grandparents, Helen Carnes of Towe, Texas, and Donna Linnell of Myrtle Creek, Ore.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Prescott Valley United Methodist Church.

Metz Mortuary in Henderson, Neb., helped the family with arrangements.
