Timothy James Montross
Timothy James Montross, 44, of Prescott, died Monday, April 16, 2001, in Tempe.
He was born Jan. 15, 1957, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, to Lawrence and Myrtle (Lerud) Montross.
Mr. Montross graduated from Colorado State University and worked as a computer programmer. He moved to Arizona from Virginia last year.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and as a marksman won many awards.
Surviving are his father, of Prescott; sister, Lynne of Scottsdale; and brother, Larry of Herndon, Va.
His mother preceded him in death in March 2000.
Cremation was at Bradshaw Crematory, Prescott Valley. There will be private family services at a later date, with Pastor Wallace Cole of the American Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating.
Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home helped the family with arrangements.
Margaret Hillier Waggoner
Margaret Hillier Waggoner, 83, of Prescott, died Saturday, April 7, 2001, in Prescott Valley.
She was born Feb. 16, 1918, in Christchurch, New Zealand, to Robert Bunting and Madge (Green) McMillan.
Mrs. Waggoner was a college graduate who had worked as a personnel placement officer for Crocker-Citizens Bank in San Francisco, Calif. She was a citizen of New Zealand.
She married Earl Waggoner in 1959. He preceded her in death in 1991.
Surviving are her daughters, Sherry Ahern Rogers of San Mateo, Calif., and Marilyn Ahern Pew of Berkeley, Calif.; and son, Brian Ahern of Sedona.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez St., Prescott.
Alice Pauline Woods
Alice Pauline Woods, 65, of Chino Valley, died Saturday, April 14, 2001, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix.
She was born March 19, 1936, in Deora, Colo., to Floyd and Bertha (Rayl) Shelton.
Mrs. Woods married Jerry D. Woods on Nov. 15, 1958, in Marlow, Okla. She moved to Arizona from Harbor City, Calif., in 1988.
She was a member of the Chino Valley Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Mrs. Woods enjoyed gardening, looking for arrowheads and cooking for her family.
Surviving are her husband; daughter, Miava Sullivan of Atascadero, Calif.; sons, Raymond and D.J. of Chino Valley and Randall of Prescott; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St., Prescott. Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
