Earl Farrington Andersen

Earl Farrington Andersen, 84, of Chino Valley, died Friday, May 19, 2000, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Prescott.

He was born July 5, 1915, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Albert C. and Anna M. (Benson) Andersen.

Mr. Andersen served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He married Elvie Helen Abrahamson on Aug. 10, 1971.

In 1978, they moved from Minneapolis to Peoria, where he worked as a manufacturer's representative.

When he retired in February of this year, they moved to Prescott. Mr. Andersen was a 57-year member of the American Legion, and was a member of the Wisconsin Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife, Elvie; son, Bruce of Tempe; stepson, Robert Anderson of Chino Valley; brothers, Robert and Jerome, both of Minneapolis; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Cremation was private at Bradshaw Crematory, Prescott Valley. Memorial services were Friday in Glendale and committal followed at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7161 N. 56th Ave., Glendale, AZ 85301.

Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home helped the family with arrangements.

Linda Louise Lively

Linda Louise Lively, 50, died Tuesday, May 30, 2000, at her home in Chino Valley.

She was born Aug. 18, 1949, in Tucson, to Norman Lee and Billie Rene (Wesley) Cox.

Mrs. Lively had owned and operated a video store for many years.

She was a Chino Valley resident for the past 30 years. She enjoyed horseback riding, golf, and arts and crafts.

Survivors include her husband, John Sr. of Chino Valley; son, John Jr. of Chino Valley; mother, Billie Paullas of California; brothers, Chuck, Carl and Rick; and sisters, Rita and Shirley.

Services were Friday in Prescott.

Hampton Funeral Home helped the family with arrangements.

Jasper Noah Boyd Jr.

Jasper Noah Boyd Jr., 80, of Chino Valley, died Tuesday, May 30, 2000, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Prescott.

He was born Oct. 6, 1919, in Hayward, Okla., to Jasper N. Sr. and Bertha F. (Jeffries) Boyd.

Mr. Boyd served in the Jolly Rogers B-24 bomb squad in New Guinea in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

He worked as an iron worker. He moved to Tucson from Englewood, Calif., 20 years ago, and to Chino Valley in 1983.

Survivors include his daughter, Sandra DeBernardo of California; son, Michael of California; sisters, Gladys Waddell, Florence Lambert and Ruth Donnley, all of Long Beach, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

John Edwin Robinson

John Edwin Robinson, 56, of Chino Valley, died Thursday, May 25, 2000, in Phoenix.

He was born Dec. 16, 1943, in Muskegon, Mich., to John Brown Robinson and Eleanor Agnes (Erickson) Robinson.

Mr. Robinson married his wife, Mary, on Nov. 1, 1969.

He served in the U.S. Army for 21 years, retiring as a first sergeant. While serving in Vietnam he received the Purple Heart, four bronze stars and numerous other honors.

He was proudest of his family and enjoyed taking his grandchildren to the flea market.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Mary; daughters, Jennifer Loughrige of Bagdad and Johanna Brewster of Chino Valley; mother and father, Eleanor and Leonard Bellgardt Jr. of Prescott; brothers, Leonard Bellgardt III of Chandler and Patrick Bellgardt of San Diego, Calif.; sister, GayLynn Tharpe of Prescott Valley; and five grandchildren.

A Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated on May 31 at Sacred Heart Church. Father Fred Le Claire, C.M.F. was the celebrant. Interment with full military honors followed at Redwood Memorial Gardens, Dewey.

The family suggests memorial contributions to American Diabetes Association, 2328 W. Royal Palm Road Ste. D, Phoenix, AZ 85021.
