The 350 members of Lions and Lioness clubs from throughout the tri-city area will be pooling their efforts for the 20th annual Pancake Breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Congregational Church, 216 E. Gurley St., in Prescott.
The breakfast consists of all the pancakes you can eat, along with a serving of ham, orange juice and coffee for a donation of $4 per person. Children under school age eat free. All proceeds will go to support the Yavapai Blind Center at 440 N. Washington St. in Prescott, notes Lion J.D. Conley, publicity chairman.
"Last year we served 1,620 adults, and a lot of kids ate free," Conley said, and expressed the hope that that number will swell to some 2,000 at this year's event.
Tickets are available from any Lion or Lioness or at the Prescott Chamber of Commerce.
