Myrtle Jennings Eklund

Myrtle Jennings Eklund, 92, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at her home in Prescott.

She was born Dec. 20, 1907, in Streator, Ill., to Lee and Mable (Poole) Jennings.

Mrs. Eklund moved to Prescott from Addison, Ill., in 1968, and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Gustav; daughter, Joy Do of Lake Charles, La.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Hampton Funeral Home. Services will follow at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Family Hospice Care, 100 East Sheldon St., Ste. 100, Prescott, AZ 86301.

Thomas P. Kelliher

Thomas P. Kelliher, 64, of Prescott, died today, Nov. 17, 2000, in Prescott.

He was born March 7, 1936, in Chicago, Ill., to Thomas Joseph and Kathleen Winifred (Mahoney) Kelliher.

Mr. Kelliher graduated from DePaul University in Chicago in 1959. He moved to Michigan a few years later, where he worked for Federal-Mogul Corporation. He worked there until 1983, leaving as a senior vice president.

In 1984 he moved to southern California, where he worked as a senior vice president of Mattel Toys before retiring to Arizona in 1990. Mr. Kelliher was a SCORE volunteer in Prescott.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley, whom he married in 1960; sons, Kevin of Gross Pointe, Mich.; Brian of Birmingham, Mich.; Tom of San Bernardino, Calif.; and John of Mansfield, Mass.; mother, Kathleen of Chicago, Ill.; brother, Michael of Chicago, Ill.; sisters, Mary O'Sullivan of Orland Park, Ill., and Kay Innis of Chicago, Ill.; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1:15 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, Cortez at Carleton streets, Prescott.

A funeral Mass with celebration of Mr. Kelliher's life will be at 2:15 p.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury Ave., Prescott.

Final commendation and farewell will be at Queen Haven Cemetery in Chicago, Ill.

Louis O'Drobinak

Louis O'Drobinak, 85, of Prescott Valley, died Tuesday , Nov. 14, 2000, in Prescott Valley.

He was born Dec. 10, 1914, in Whiting, Ind., to Charles and Ludmilla (Hanulak) O'Drobinak.

Mr. O'Drobinak served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Marie Machay Feb. 18, 1946, in Indiana Harbor, Ind.

He and his wife owned and operated several businesses in Indiana before retiring in 1979 and moving to Prescott Valley. He was a member of St. Germaine Catholic Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Indiana and the Elks Lodge in Prescott Valley.

Mr. O'Drobinak enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and gardening, and loved his family. A dedication service of Silver Valley Care Home in Prescott Valley in his honor will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 16.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Kathryn Pettit of Prescott Valley and Susan of Phoenix; brother, Emil of Whiting, Ind.; and one grandchild.

The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at Sunrise Funeral Home. There will be an Elks Lodge service after the rosary.

A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Germaine Catholic Church, with Father John Shetler officiating.
