CHINO VALLEY – Three people are in custody facing armed robbery and conspiracy charges stemming from a strange incident Friday night.
Just after 11 p.m., Chino Valley police heard from four Hispanic men that three people had come into their apartment in the 900 block of Highway 89, held them at gunpoint and demanded money. When the victims told them they had none, police said, the suspects left. The four victims provided a description of the suspects and a partial license plate of their vehicle, which officers located hours later at another Chino Valley address. During a search of the vehicle, officers allegedly located the gun involved in the robbery, in the trunk under the spare tire.
Facing charges are Kristen Bellomy, 22, Kristina Segaye, 18, and Brian Martinez, 18. Chino police booked them into the county jail in Prescott.
