YC stage promises stellar shows<BR>

Tickets are now available for several upcoming shows on the slate at the Yavapai College Performance Hall that include a number of fabulous entertainers.

• Two-time CMA female vocalist of the year Kathy Mattea appears at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, with a special opening act by "Nickel Creek." Tickets are $22. Mattea's No. 1 hits include: "Goin' Gone," "Eighteen Wheels And A Dozen Roses," "Where've You Been," "Life As We Knew It," and "She Came From Fort Worth."

Nickel Creek is an up and coming Bluegrass band.

• Back by popular demand! Willie Nelson appears in two shows this year: at 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, and at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19. Tickets: $36 all seats.

Nelson's hits include: "You Were Always on my Mind," "On The Road Again," "Crazy," "Georgia On My Mind," and "To All The Girls I've Loved Before."

• Carrot Top, the red-headed comedian, returns with his trunks full of hilarious props at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 5. Tickets: $19 all seats.

Tickets are available in the Community Events Office in the Art Gallery of the Yavapai College Performance Hall from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday or at the door before each performance.
