Thomas G. Piercy
Thomas G. Piercy, 75, of Prescott, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Prescott.
He was born July 20, 1925, in West, Texas, to Clarence H. and Annie Callie (Phillips) Piercy.
Mr. Piercy served as a line maintenance officer in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He attended Cornell Univer-sity and graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, with a master's degree in aeronautics.
At the time of his retirement on Aug. 1, 1990, he was senior analyst and program manager for the Marquardt Company in California. He moved to the Prescott area from Simi Valley, Calif., in 1992.
His family knew him as a gentle, sensitive man who was proud of being an accomplished aerospace analyst.
Surviving are his wife, Marjorie, who he married on May 6, 1972; son, Douglas of DeSoto, Texas; daughters, Donna of Arlington, Texas, and Diana Dennis of Lancaster, Texas; and five grandchildren.
Private cremation was at Bradshaw Crematory, Prescott Valley. Private family services will be in Texas.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Veterans Affairs Medical Center Hospice, 500 E. Highway 89, Prescott, AZ 86313.
Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home helped the family with arrangements.
