Katalin Benedek

A memorial Mass for Katalin Benedek, 89, who died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000, in Prescott, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury Ave., Prescott.

Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home helped the family with arrangements.

Margaret R. Fox

Margaret R. Fox, 86, of Prescott, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000, in Phoenix.

She was born May 20, 1914, in Ravenna, Ohio, to Mike and Mary (Harmata) Tatka.

Mrs. Fox married her husband, Paul, in 1947 in Williams. She was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing, camping and other outdoor activities. She moved to Prescott from Portales, N.M., 55 years ago.

Surviving is her husband Paul.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mountain View Cemetery, Prescott, with Pastor Peter Perry officiating.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the National Parkinson's Foundation, in care of Marc Lichtman, 1501 NW 9th Ave., Miami, FL 33136-1494.

Hampton Funeral Home helped the family with arrangements.

Rita G. Ortega

Rita G. Ortega, 78, of Prescott, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000, in Prescott.

She was born April 19, 1922, in Phoenix, to Jesus and Andrea (Amaro) Gonzalez.

Mrs. Ortega had lived in Arizona for 68 years, and Prescott for more than 35 years. She worked for Ameri-can Laundry and Linen in Prescott for many years.

Survivors include her daughters, Joann De Los Santos of Midland, Texas, Barbara Ortega of Lawton, Okla. and Mary Ann Williams of Phoenix; sons, Richard of Abilene, Texas, and Tony Jr. of Chino Valley; brothers, Frank and Jose Gonza-lez, both of Phoenix; sisters, Lupe Hernandez of San Diego, Calif. and Jennie Shipp of Phoenix; 24 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Tony, preceded her in death in 1999.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Memory Chapel, 131 Grove. Ave., Prescott, with Deacon Bill Starr officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
