Charles R. "Dick" Blount
Charles R. "Dick" Blount, 77, of Prescott, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2000, in Prescott.
He was born Nov. 22, 1922, in Glendale, to Ralph and Corrine (Van Noate) Blount.
Mr. Blount served in the Army Air Corps in World War II. He moved to Prescott after the war, and worked as a mechanic for the Dickey trucking company for many years.
He was a charter member of Prescott Soaring Society, and active in the group for 28 years. He enjoyed reading and hunting.
Surviving is his sister, Nellie Haddox of Arizona Pioneers' Home in Prescott; and three nieces and three nephews.
No services are planned. Private cremation was at Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Crematorium.

Caroline A. Cronin
Caroline A. Cronin, 76, of Illinois, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000, in Alden Northshore Nursing Home, Skokie, Ill.
She was born June 19, 1924, in Chicago, Ill. Mrs. Cronin lived in Prescott from 1982 to 1999.
Surviving are her daughters, Carole Schmidt and Judy Powers, both of Park Ridge, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
Her husband, William, preceded her in death.
A funeral Mass was celebrated this morning at St. Paul of the Cross Church, Park Ridge, Ill. Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, Ill.
Ryan-Parke Funeral Home in Park Ridge helped the family with arrangements.
Francis E. McCraw
Francis E. McCraw, 87, of Prescott, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2000, at a local nursing home.
She was born Sept. 13, 1913, in Okmuglee, Okla., to Elmer and Ada (Bailey) Clements.
A resident of Prescott for 62 years, Mrs. McCraw was a retired food server at Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Surviving are her daughter, Shirley Adair of Phoenix; and a number of grandchildren.
Private interment will be at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
Memory Chapel Mortuary helped the family with arrangements.
