Marine Col. (RET) Fred Cone will be speaking about his combat tours in Southeast Asia as a highly decorated Marine pilot flying a variety of aircraft. Col. Cone flew missions in North and South Vietnam, many at night and in bad weather. He has thrilling tales of the cat and mouse dynamic that existed between the significant array of Vietnamese air defenses and U.S. aircraft. Col. Cone will focus much of his talk on the air offensive called “Rolling Thunder”. He has intimate knowledge of this operation given his role in its execution; and looks with a critical eye at the operational planning and conduct of this phase of the air war. Free & everyone is welcome! For more information contact: Jerry Kidrick, coordinator (928) 777-6985 firstname.lastname@example.org
