So many issues are political bombshells. Single-payer medical insurance is one of them. However, do you really know why you are for or against a proposed option for providing health care?
One of the primary goals of the non-partisan League of Women Voters of Central Yavapai County (LWVCYC) is to “work to increase understanding of major policy issues.” Since one of the major issues in the election of 2020 will be Medicare for All vs. Obamacare and/or private health insurance, the LWVCYC is partnering with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) to provide an open forum to address this controversial issue. Join our experts to help you evaluate the options available to ensure adequate, affordable healthcare. The forum will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 10 a.m. to noon at Yavapai College, 1100 E. Sheldon St., Building 3, room 119. This important event is open to the public!
