Fr. Secchi, born 200 years ago in Italy, was a remarkable scientist with both United Kingdom and United States work experience. He is best known for pioneering astronomical spectroscopy, but he was active in oceanography, meteorology and physics. Let’s get to know him and his current legacy better. Presented by Fr. Chris Corbally, President of the National Committee for Astronomy, Vatican City State. For more information on the Prescott Astronomy Club, contact Pat Birck at 928.778.6324.
