Learn the skills you didn’t know you needed to know at the Prescott Valley Public Library’s Adulting 101 series! This series will teach older teens and younger adults (and adults who just want to adult better) practical life skills that may have not been taught at home or at school. The third program will be a Community Organizing Workshop taught by Alex Yanish, a Prescott College Masters student studying social justice issues and community organizing tactics. The workshop will introduce attendees to community mobilization and the power of community voice, as well as discuss ways to build community empowerment and develop empowered individuals. This program will meet on Thursday, November 2nd at 6pm in the library’s Glassford Hill Room (7401 E. Civic Circle). The program is free and no registration is required.
