Violinist Liza Ferschtman is featured when the Phoenix Symphony returns to Prescott for a performance at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, at the Yavapai College Performing Arts Center, 1100 E. Sheldon St., Prescott.
Conducted by Tito Munoz, who is the symphony’s musical director and its principal conductor, the orchestra will perform Johannes Brahms’ “Violin Concerto,” Robert Schumann’s “Symphony No. 4.” And Anton Webern’s “Passacaglia.” A pre-concert lecture is at 2 p.m.
Tickets are available from the Yavapai Symphony Association office, 228 N. Alarcon St., and by calling 928-776-4255 for “will call” pick up at the door, starting at 1:30 p.m. the day of the concert. Ticket prices range from $29 to $42, and full-time college students can purchase any available tickets for $10, after the performance has begun.
