Rusty Casagranda

October 9, 1929 - March 23, 2016

Rusty Casagranda of Prescott Valley, Arizona passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. She was the daughter of Blanche Hummel Wright and Eldon Wright. She was born Oct. 9, 1929 on a farm in Stockport, Iowa where she graduated from high school.
She was raised on a farm by VO Wright, her grandfather, who she loved dearly. She loved farm life, milking cows, slopping pigs and riding horses and was a huge animal lover, leaving behind her beloved cat phantom. She also taught Ballroom dancing, which is where she met the love of her life, Frank Casagranda Sr. who preceded her in death.
Rusty is survived by her three children, Mickey Ream, Tanya Casagranda-May (Bill) and Frank Casagranda Jr. (Challene); 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters Doris and Judy; her sister-in-law Dolores Dipol; and many nieces; nephews; and cousins.
A funeral service will take place Saturday, April 2, 2016 with visitation starting at 9 a.m. and service starting at 10 a.m. at the Sunrise Funeral Home, 8167 E. Highway
69, Prescott Valley, Arizona.
