On Oct. 18, Bible study attendees at American Lutheran Church’s Women of Wisdom delivered three carloads of donations, including more than $1,050 in cash and gift cards, to the Community Pregnancy Center at 1124 E. Gurley St. in Prescott.

The Community Pregnancy Center is a not-for-profit 501c3 organization that serves childbearing women of all ages in our community by providing free pregnancy tests, free ultrasounds and free classes on pregnancy and parenting. By taking “Earn While You Learn classes,” moms and dads earn credits that they can use to purchase items in the subsidized Baby Store.

“We have pretty much everything you might need for your baby,” CPC Executive Director Brent DeSaye said.

Sherry VanderBerg, Baby Store Manager, added, “It is such a blessing to have all the wonderful donations from WOW members! The shelves in our newly remodeled store are filled with all the items we needed!”
