Karan G. Olmstead-Miller

Karan G. Olmstead-Miller, 71, passed away on Dec. 19, 2018, in Peoria, Arizona. She was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, to Donald and Kathleen Olmstead.

At a young age her family moved to Prescott, Arizona, where she attended Dexter Elementary School, Prescott Jr. High (on Gurley St.) and graduated Prescott High School class of 1965.

Karan was always compassionate, caring and full of life. She enjoyed her work in the technology industry as she worked for several manufacturing companies and finally retired from Medtronic in 2015.

She is survived by her two sons and their spouses, Donald Miller (Gabriela Fontana) and Charles Miller (Timi Miller); her grandchildren, Tanner, Elise and Karli; her siblings, Betsy Chance (Prescott), Nannette Acosta (Tucson), Robert Olmstead (Prescott) and Rodney Olmstead (Sierra Vista); many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

Karan especially loved her grandchildren and would always light up when talking about them. A private memorial service was held.

Arrangements were entrusted to Best Funeral Service of Peoria, Arizona.
