Obituary: Otto Buehler

Otto Buehler, age 80, of Prescott Valley, Arizona, was born May 1, 1938, in Goessel, Kansas, and died Dec. 29, 2018.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores, of 61 years; his three children, Philip Buehler, and wife, Dianne, of Laurel, Mississippi; Sharon Till, and husband, Allen, of Missouri City, Texas; Michael Buehler, and wife, Kimberly, of Rowlett, Texas; seven grandchildren: Steven Strain, Jamie Dugan, Grant Kennedy, Brandon Buehler, Jason Clark, Brian Clark, Austin Buehler; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Marge Morris of Perryton, Texas.

Otto was a former Kentucky State Trooper and retired in 2001 after 32 years with Shelter Insurance. Otto and Dolores moved to Prescott, Arizona, in 2008, where he has since been active in his church, Mount Vernon Church of Christ, and a beloved volunteer for Prescott Area Habitat for Humanity.

A memorial service will be held at Mount Vernon Church of Christ in Prescott on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials for the Trujillo Christian School, Mount Vernon Church of Christ, 120 N. Mt. Vernon Ave., Prescott AZ 86301.
