The Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters Chef Series: Big Bites for Our Littles raised funds to match 15 children Tuesday, Sept. 11. Chef Kevin Binkley of Binkley’s in Phoenix treated the sold out crowd of 60 to several courses of locally-sourced food and wine pairings at Talking Rock’s Ranch House Restaurant. Little Brother Sammy, a high school student who is deeply interested in the culinary arts, was able to work in the kitchen with the chef and his staff to prepare this meal. “Our new Chef Dinner Series provides an opportunity for community to gather around the table and share an extraordinary culinary experience – all to support the children of Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters,” said YBBBS President and CEO Juliana Goswick. “We are forever grateful for the generous support of our caring community serving as both donors and volunteers. We’re looking forward to announcing our next Four-Star Chef soon as a new culinary journey will take place at the beginning of the New Year.”
