The Prescott Fire Department recognized several Prescott Police Department officers last week for their efforts in rendering aid during an EMS call in August.

Fire Chief Dennis Light presented certificates of appreciation to Police Officers Natanael Amavizca, Chad Beyea, Terry Carroll and Andrew Lovan for their efforts in providing chest compressions to a patient and maintaining scene safety during a difficult call, according to a news release from the Prescott Fire Department.

“The officers were offered a lunch in appreciation and also presented with fire department challenge coins in recognition of their efforts,” the news release stated.
