David James Jenkins Jr.

David James Jenkins, Jr., was born July 7, 1962, in St. Paul, Minnesota. He died Aug. 11, 2018 at home in Paulden, Arizona, with his family by his side.

He moved with his father and mother to several military bases, including Germany where he attended kindergarten and first grade. He attended schools in Lockhart, Florida; Lewistown and Glasgow, Montana; and trade school in Rapid City, South Dakota; as well as Yavapai College in Prescott, Arizona.

David was employed by Nor Pac Surveying with headquarters in Denver, Colorado. He was injured while driving a company truck and was paralyzed as a quadriplegic.

David made friends every place he ever went, and had a winning smile and a can-do attitude. He became a follower of Christ and was baptized in 2016. He will be missed by all those who knew him. God bless him and keep him.

David is survived by his parents, David J. Jenkins, Sr. and Elva E. Jenkins of Prescott, Ariz.; brother, Danny R. (Geronda) Jenkins of Chino Valley, Ariz.; niece Elizabeth (Jake) Jenkins of Paulden, Ariz.; nephew Jedadiah (Ambrosia) Jenkins of Chino Valley, Ariz.; great-nieces Elva and Dacey; and his great-nephews, Jesstin and David III.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at Calvary Chapel Dayspring Church at 2180 Gulf Stream Suite B in Prescott.
