For Love of history, air show

The City of Prescott, American Legion Post 6, and the Prescott Chamber of Commerce host a celebration of the life and sacrifice of Ernest A. Love, and all  World War I veterans, at a reception at the Holiday Courtyard, on Whiskey Row Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018 in Prescott.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Love’s death. His last dogfight will be reenacted as part of the Wings Out West Air Show on Saturday, Oct. 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The aerial performances go from 10 a.m. to noon at the Prescott airport.
