Cause of single-vehicle accident unknown

A Prescott man recently died in a single-vehicle crash near the entrance to Crater Lake National Park in Oregon, according to police.

The man, Darrell Crittenden, 69, was driving along Highway 62 in a blue 2001 Nissan pickup when he veered off the road and struck a tree Friday afternoon, Sept. 28, Oregon State Police reported.

Crittenden suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the accident was reported as undetermined.
