On Sept. 11, 2018, the General George Crook Chapter, NSDAR Regent, Dr. Anne Marie Ward accepted the Constitution Proclamation from the Prescott City Council. This year, both the Prescott City Council and the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors presented the General George Crook Chapter with a Constitution Proclamation.
Ward talked about many of the activities that the chapter is involved in including the promotion of historic education, support for our veterans, fundraising for scholarships for local high school students in JROTC and ROTC, and for historic preservation. Their most recent project was a fundraising event for the restoration of the floors in the Governor’s Mansion on the Sharlot Hall Museum campus. The chapter has been actively working in the community since 1927. (Courtesy)
