Attic fire in Dewey being investigated

Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority personnel fight an attic fire at a home in Dewey Monday morning, Nov. 19.

Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) crews responded to a working attic fire at a home in the Prescott Country Club area of Dewey Monday morning, Nov. 19.

The response included three engines, two water tenders, one battalion chief, a fire investigator, the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office and one Life Line Ambulance on standby.

All occupants made it out of the home safely and were accounted for. The fire was contained to the attic.

The cause of the fire will be under investigation.
