“For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven not built by human hands.” — 2nd Corinthians 5:1

Jeri Anne McFarlane left her earthly home on Nov. 8, 2018. She was born Jan. 24, 1966, in Prescott Arizona.

During her life she lived in many places in Arizona, as well as California, Colorado and finally Riverton, Wyoming, where she lived with her husband, James F. McFarlane.

During her 52 years of life, she shared her joys and love of life and all it encompassed with everyone she met, putting smiles on faces, and uplifting hearts of friends, as well as strangers.

There was no one Jeri wouldn’t offer a helping hand or lend a listening ear to. Jeri loved all of nature. She loved the outdoors and sharing it with her husband, Jim. Simply looking at God’s creation brought a great satisfaction as she enjoyed the beauty in sunsets, sunrises, trees, mountains, lakes, rivers and all of nature. She loved hiking, hunting, fishing, camping, gardening and watching the many wild animals in her rural yard. She also loved taking care of her pets, which included 20 chickens (each with an individual name) and her cat, Jasper.

A book could be written on the lives she touched. She blessed the world with three daughters who she loved immensely and taught them the joys of life and being happy. One of her fondest moments was the birth of her first granddaughter, Harlee.

In her passing, she brought life to others as she became an organ donor. She is survived by her husband, James F. McFarlane of Riverton, Wyoming; her daughter, Renae, Renae’s husband, Josh Helms, and their two children, Harlee and Brayden of Colorado Springs; her daughters, Rachael Fennie of Colorado Springs, and Jessica Fennie of Tucson, Arizona.

Surviving her as well are her parents, Anthony Sylvia of Hillside Arizona, and Jeri Culp of Tonto Basin, Arizona.

There will be a celebration of her life at the Hillside Bible Church fellowship hall in Hillside, Arizona, on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 1 p.m. All are welcome to attend and share the great memories she created in their lives.
