Paul Magee Hammond

Paul Magee Hammond was laid to rest at the Prescott Veterans Cemetery in May 2018.

A 1967 graduate of Queensbury HS, in Glens Falls, New York, Paul also served in the Navy as an Electricians Mate 3rd Class on the U.S.S. Richard E. Krauss. This ship was included in the Standing Naval Force Atlantic, a multi-nation fleet associated with NATO. Honorably discharged in 1970, Paul worked for IBM in Fishkill, New York, and Longmont, Colorado.

Retirement took him to Scottsdale, Arizona, where he acted and performed at local venues. He was featured in “The Improv Comedy Show” at STAR Theater and appeared in films such as “Booking Knights,” “21,” “The Sounds of Silence,” and “Jerry Maguire.” Paul also resided in Flagstaff, Arizona, and finally in Prescott Valley, Arizona. He was a firearms enthusiast, and avid outdoorsman and a gentle patriot.

He is survived by his sister, Virginia Hammond of Dewey, Arizona.
