I am writing this letter on behalf of one of my students at Prescott High School.
A couple of weeks ago my student told me that he had lost his wallet over the weekend, which included cash and his student ID card. Later that same morning, he was called to the front office. We had no idea why, so I went with him. He was handed his wallet and said: “A lady just turned this in. Sorry, but I didn’t get her name. She found it in a street this weekend.”
Well, my student was so excited and kept smiling and excitedly saying, “My wallet, I got it back! I got my wallet back!” Sure enough, the money and ID card were still inside. Then he said, “Mrs. Gregory, we have to thank her. She gave it back to me.”
So, a heartfelt thanks to the caring and thoughtful lady who took the time to come to PHS and return this young man’s wallet. Please know that your kindness is much appreciated.
